Overview
We redesigned CAG’s Pega-based forms to improve usability for 50,000+ users, reducing clutter, simplifying workflows, and creating an accessible, visually consistent
UI within constraints of tightly coupled government audit systems.
Project Background
The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) is a constitutional authority responsible for auditing all receipts and expenditure of the Government of India and state governments, ensuring transparency and accountability in public finance.
User story; I am unable to mark attendance. It keeps giving error.
Server is not responding "please try after some time."
Tried multiple times already. Can someone please take a look and get it fixed.?
Surveys: To understand frequency and types of pain points.
User Interviews: With staff at various hierarchy levels.
Competitive Analysis: Reviewed similar government systems for UI/UX benchmarks.

Challenge 1: Complex, Data-Heavy Workflows
The Problem
The clerk and assistant registrar handled travel bills and maintained accounts using traditional methods. Managing the process was challenging due to reliance on hard copies and the absence of a structured workflow.
HMW
How we might Apply colorful, fun experience.
How we might Add Error Prevention.
How we might can motivate or adding gamification.
How we might reduce Desktop Cognitive load.
Learnings
I learned about finance and audit systems while working closely with government clients. I explored backend development and how to design systems that meet user needs. I also gained knowledge of the PEGA system and its use in process design and automation.
Some of my work involves sensitive projects that I’m unable to share publicly (Final Screens and Design System).
I would be glad to connect and discuss how I can bring the same thoughtful and strategic design process to your team.
